Our History

Marylebone has been providing accounting solutions for small business for over 20 years. The company was started by John Eastham and he was joined by Gillian Harvey in 1998. Later that year the business moved premises to Aspull and finally in 2006 to our current premises on Bolton Road. John retired in 2010 and Gill's husband Stephen joined the team to provide Practice Management and HR expertise.



Cloud accounting brings  a major change to our business and whilst we will always serve our local clients we are now able to provide services for more remote businesses. For people who work from home or on the move and need an adaptable system that fits with their working life. Time is money these days and as more business is done digitally we see our clients less and less. Having robust, secure systems is vitally important in these circumstances and we have partnered with some of the leading software suppliers to ensure our clients get the best service.



The ethos of the business has always been the same, to help small business owners to succeed by reducing the burden of  paperwork and ensuring compliance across the board. We believe your accountant should be approachable and ready to work with you to deal with the challenges you face.
